Just Ask For It (short)

Macy and Dave learn of a pay discrepancy between them at their company. Macy is forced to decide whether or not to confront the injustice, potentially at her partner’s expense. As Macy’s confident exterior is shattered, Dave struggles to see the bias until he starts questioning his own road to success.

A short film that highlights the way we perceive salary to be the main indicator for our own self-worth. It asks us to question how we will ever close the gender pay gap when so much of our merit-based system is subjective.
